Happy Tails
Success Stories of Former THS Adoptables
Here are a few of the happily ever-afters from our THS adopters!
Pebbles
Dane/Lab

We first heard about Pebbles in January 2015, when we were notified that she was tied up outside and not being fed. Her former owner was charged with Animal Cruelty, and Pebbles came to the THS to begin healing. After several months of sleeping in a warm, sheltered dog house and getting fed every day, she found her fur-ever family who will never again leave her chained up outside in the cold without food.
Cane
Cane was abandoned in a crate outside the shelter. He came in with a bad infection caused by a shot gun pellet that had developed into a bad bone infection. We had him on anti biotics for several months, and also had the bone biopsied. After about 7 months Cane was transferred to a rescue in New Jersey. He was in an awesome foster home and cared for by the best surgeons in the area. By grafting some bone they were able to cut out the infected bone. He recovered well with full use of his leg. After recovery, he was adopted into new and very loving home of his own. Cane made the long journey, and never stopped being happy. Cane is one of our happier tales, and he is living the awesome new life he so much deserves. Forever loved our sweet boy Cane!
