Friends of Tangi Humane Society

Without the generous support of people and groups in our community, we wouldn't be able to help these animals.  The wagging tails and content purrs are made possible because of people like YOU!

Here are just a few of our friends...

.We would like to thank AmeriGas in Ponchatoula for graciously donating 100lbs of propane. This donation will help the Tangi Humane Society kennel babies will stay warmer this winter! 12/2/16

Beginning February 2018, Blackened Brew has a "Tails and Ales" fundraiser for Tangi Humane every 3rd Thursday of the month. Come on out and enjoy the fun.

Romano promo has donated 2 feather banners, a

commercial tablecloth with logo, the vinyl appliques for our trailer, and volunteer t-shirts.  This branding lets the public know who we are and acknowledges our supporters.

The Girlie Girls Trading Co Girls

Thank you to The girls of girly girl trading Co. for mading a huge difference to the animals of Tangi Humane Society today, we were proud to stop by and meet them and were so impressed with this small group of girls. They came up with this idea at school, and with a lot of hard work and planning they were able to make a very significant impact. It is humbling to see this small group care so much to work so hard to help us here at Tangi.

Troop 170

Thanks to Eagle Scout Troop 170 out of Hammond for the 4 kennels that they purchased and set up for us in May 2016, complete with roofs! This will help us continue our mission, and to keep up with the demand of our service to the abused, neglected and forgotten animals in our parish. Thanks to you young men and parents for making us your community project this year!

Guy

Our youngest support came by yesterday and dropped off lots of fuzzy, warm blankets for the kennel babies. Thank you Guy (and your mom) for always thinking of our kennel babies!

Dera

Dera came bearing gifts from the good people of the Krewe of Omega. They held a donation drive to help us continue taking care of all the little ones. Thank you Krewe of Omega!

St. Joseph Young Volunteers

The teachers, and administrators of St. Joseph school, and their parents have incorporated into their curriculum to teach the kids to give back to their community. The young people spent their Saturday, walking, watering and loving on the little ones waiting for their forever homes... Awesome job St. Joseph!!

We would like to thank the kind ladies from TVFC, Sunshine Ladies of Tangipahoa Parish. They serve under the LSU extension services, and continue to help the people of Tangipahoa Parish. The kennel babies and all of us here at THS appreciate all they do, for the awesome treats, homemade blankets, cleaning supplies, lots and lots of canned food and puppy food and many other goodies!

GuyChange

Guy is one of our youngest volunteers, and he is spending the summer of 2015 collecting change to help the fur babies of Tangi Humane Society! Guy is challenging everyone to donate their loose change to see what a big change a little change can add up to! You can meet Guy at all of our adoption events, and you might even see him around town!
